Hi. My name is Kevin and I own and operate 216 Strong. 216 Strong is a personal training studio but it's also a family of kind, non-judgmental individuals trying to improve their lives. I believe it's the perfect place for anyone who is just starting out or anyone who wants to take their fitness routine to the next level. I have been in the gym learning for over 35 years now. The first 20 as an athlete and as my main hobby .I've been mentored by some very respected coaches and trainers. I've been training other people exclusively since 2014. I've had nothing but some form of success with every client I have worked with. As of this day, I know of no unhappy, disgruntled client. I am laid-back but can turn the intensity up if that is what you need. I have been around many different people and can understand what motivates them pretty quickly. Currently I am very good at my job but I am always trying to improve myself through education and research. I have trained children from 13 years old all the way to a 60 year old female professional powerlifter. I've dealt with lots of shoulder ,back, knee, hip pain, etc.. I can and will improve not only your body but I will improve your daily standard of living. This is my promise to you!
I began training with Kevin over a year ago 30 lbs overweight. Not only did I lose the weight within 9 months of training with him, I have never been stronger more fit at almost 50 years of age. Kevin is very knowledgeable and has years of experience. If your goals are to lose weight, learn to powerlift or just simply lift heavy stuff :-)

Kevin is an amazing trainer, knowledgeable and quite adept at coming up with ways to teach through instruction and demonstration…and occasionally repetition; he say’s sometimes the bar is best trainer. I could talk about moving my max bench press up to 350 or finally learning to clean and jerk with fluidity and polish but I would rather talk about him as a person. Kevin is genuinely kind, intelligent and hard working. I think one of the best examples of kindness I can provide is during the COVID-19 shutdown that prevented us from working together; he brought equipment to my house to use without charge. He did this so I wouldn’t fall off from my workout and my goals; he was sincerely interested in my success. Working out with Kevin is always interesting…I attest this to his intelligence. I think he changes things up not only because multiple modalities force the body to adapt but also because he enjoys using his mind to come up with effective workouts that meet and challenge your abilities. Kevin is exceptionally hard working; he has never been unprepared for my sessions, even when I know he has other obligations that require his attention. Lot’s of people are knowledgeable because of a personal interest in fitness, but finding someone who is able to share that with you generously at consistently high levels is extremely rare.
